The Happy Butterfly has colorful wings and a big heart. The artist loves to create uplifting and colorful images to touch the young and young souls of the world.

Each piece is made using a method that is done by hand. To make these serigraphs the artist begins with a drawing in pencil that is then inked. For each color, she cuts a stencil from lacquer film. This film gets adhered to a screen of tightly stretched material. Because silk used to be used, it is commonly called silk-screening.

Bright colors and shimmering metallics are applied one at a time, carefully registering each screen on Fine Art Paper. The whole process is one of not ever knowing what the final piece will look like, making each serigraph an original.

Your art will arrive in a frame made from Eco-Friendly Bonanza Wood in the color American Maple.
